Born and raised in the vibrant culture of Baltimore, my artistic journey eventually led me to the epicenter of the theater world: New York City. There, I spent decades fully immersed in the industry as a performer, choreographer, writer, and pioneer instructor. As a teacher, I broke traditional boundaries by becoming the very first educator to introduce Rock 'n' Roll Jazz to Broadway Dance Center in NYC—a groundbreaking style fusing the precision of ballet, jazz, and modern dance with the raw, driving energy of rock music.

My extensive instructional pedigree spans over 20 years across premier national institutions, including STEPS on Broadway, Manhattan Movement and Arts Center, The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, Marymount Manhattan College, Wagner College, the Denver School of the Arts and the Colorado Thespian Conference. As a choreographer, my lens is deeply expressive, visceral, and story-driven. I have staged over 35 musicals, ranging from the timeless structures of the Golden Age to contemporary Pop-Rock styles. In 2019, my choreographic vision was honored in Denver with the prestigious Bobby G Award for Outstanding Choreography for Valor Christian Conservatory's acclaimed production of Thoroughly Modern Millie.

The Resilience of the Performer:

A proud member of AEA and SAG, my footprint as a stage performer is built on elite training and relentless dedication. I have toured the world in six National Tours and an international European Tour, alongside extensive work in premier regional houses like Papermill Playhouse, North Shore Music Theatre  and off-Broadway spaces like LaMama ETC. I have stepped into the skin of electric, iconic characters—from the wild rebellion of Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show to the sharp vulnerability of Val in A Chorus Line and Georgie in The Full Monty to the cute, dancing and singing comedic characters like Erma in Anything Goes and Ginger Brooks in the 1940s Radio Hour. My path has been defined by the deep resilience required of a true artist; having been cast by the prestigious Roundabout Theatre Company as Ramona in Little Me, the Broadway Revival,  a sudden injury right before rehearsals shifted my trajectory, cementing a profound grit and survival instinct that I bring into every rehearsal room today.

As a writer, my original works have disrupted creative spaces from the NYC International Fringe Festival (Rollerskates and MaryJane) to the Galapagos Art Space (The Connie Baker Show). My original choreography has been seen at concert dance venues throughout NYC including Symphony Space and FIT.

The Modern Alchemist Today:

My art has expanded into a multi-dimensional tapestry. Rooted in the rugged, ancient stone of my ancestral homeland in Amades, Chios, Greece, where I spend at least three months every year honoring my fathers' roots, my work bridges the physical and spiritual worlds. Whether I am directing a massive production, mentoring students to unearth their truest potential or hand-crafting high-frequency talismans for my crystal jewelry line, Karolina's Gems of Joy, I operate from a place of deep wisdom and sovereign strength. My classes remain deeply inspiring, non-competitive, and upbeat, yet rooted in a fierce discipline and reverence for the Arts. After migrating to Colorado from NYC, to found WABI Theatre & Dance, the company's core vision remains an unshakeable pillar of my identity and a guiding force for my creative future.
