WABI Theatre & Dance was born out of a critical artistic necessity: to provide serious singer-actors (ages 12–18) with elite, foundational dance training designed specifically to command the musical theatre industry. Traditional dance studios often miss the unique athletic and narrative needs of the theatrical performer. WABI fills that gap completely with a proprietary, proven curriculum that turns multi-hyphenate artists into formidable, well-rounded triple threats.

THE CURRICULUM: THE THREE-HOUR POWER INTENSIVE

​

Our specialized training condenses decades of professional Broadway and academic knowledge into a rigorous, three-hour laboratory that replicates elite conservatory training:

​

• 90 Minutes | Ballet Technique: Building the absolute core foundation of healthy alignment, physical placement, strength, and technical vocabulary.

• 60 Minutes | Modern, Jazz, & Theatre Dance: Immersing students in major theatrical choreographic styles, historical storytelling through movement, and intense audition preparation.

• 30 Minutes | Broadway Tap: Mastering rhythm, percussive musicality, speed, and standard Broadway tap vocabulary.

This three hour power class meets once a week, additional classes and intensives round out the training. Beyond the physical technique, WABI equips performers with the vital industry tools needed to navigate the business: headshot and résumé curation, audition styling, monologue and song selection, and high-stakes audition room strategy.

• 20+ Professional Workshops & Intensives produced, including specialized focuses in Rock ’n’ Roll Broadway, Acting, Dance, and two exclusive NYC intensives.

• The Premier College Prep Pipeline: Caroline co-developed Colorado’s only dedicated Musical Theatre College Prep program alongside Kevin Covert (Broadway Veteran and Head of Musical Theatre at Shenandoah Conservatory—a Top 10 BFA program). WABI hosted Covert for six game-changing workshops, opening direct pipelines to elite higher education
